Jesus Christ is just a call away!

The book of Joel 2:32,

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: …

This scripture is quoted by Peter at Pentecost and by Paul in his letter to Rome

Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Salvation in Jesus’ Name

Acts 4:10 … that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, … doth this man stand here before you whole.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The Name of the Lord is Jesus Christ!

1 Corinthians 1:2 … with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

It’s time to call on HIS name!

Fear Not

It has been stated that there are 365 “Fear Not” s in the Bible. Certainly there is one for you today!

Quoting from part of:

Isaiah 43:1-3  …Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.  When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.  For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: …

Jesus Said:

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

John 6:20 … It is I; be not afraid.

The Lord bless you with courage today.

Good medicine!

Thank the Lord for Good medicine!

A Merry Heart!

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: …

2 Chronicles 7:10 … he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto … his people.

How do Christians get merry? … not like the ungodly do!

James 5:13 … Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

Ephesians 5:18-19 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Have a merry day in Christ Jesus!

Everything that has breath – Praise the Lord!

The last verse in the book of Psalms

Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

God gives us breath.

Isaiah 42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Acts 17:24-25  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;  Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

The heathen must learn who controls our breath.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Daniel 5:23  But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:

Jesus Christ gives breath.

John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Let’s use our breath to praise the Lord today!

The Spirit of Truth

It is vitally important that we decipher truth from error.

In the time of crisis and panic misinformation flourishes.

The first thing Jesus mentioned of the end times in Matthew 24 was:

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Our access to information today is unprecedented.

Most of what we hear and read is simply not true.

Jesus Christ promised that the Holy Ghost would be the Spirit of Truth!

John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

There are many purposes of the Holy Ghost – Comfort, Power, Righteousness, and Holiness!

Thank God for the Spirit of Truth!

John 14:17  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

1 John 5:6  This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

Listen to the Holy Ghost (the Spirit of Christ)! He tells the Truth!

Getting to the other side with Jesus

All earthly events have two sides – a beginning and an end.

Jesus Christ is the beginning and the end.

Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Jesus told his disciples – let’s go to the other side.

Mark 4:35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

The journey to the other side was scary and difficult but Jesus made it peaceful.

Mark 4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

When they got to the other side, Jesus was with them.

Mark 5:21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

What will we find on the other side?

Jesus will be there!

Looking forward to the other side. See you there.

The Redeemed of the Lord

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!

Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

The Lord has redeemed us!

Isaiah 43:1  But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

Isaiah 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Isaiah 62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Jesus paid the price!

Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

The redeemed belong to Jesus!

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Corinthians 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

1 Peter 1:18-19  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

We need to declare – I belong to Jesus Christ!

We have been redeemed!

Light in the midst of Darkness

We have a Light in the midst of Darkness!

When the plague of Darkness came, the People of God still had light.

Exodus 10:22-23  And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:  They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Jesus Christ brings light to His People.

Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

1 Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Thank you Lord for the Light!

The Great Shepherd

The Lord Jesus Christ leads us as our Shepherd.

Hebrews 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

1 Peter 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

We are as sheep.

Psalms 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Jesus knows his sheep and they know him.

John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

His sheep will never lack.

Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Lead me Lord, I will follow.

Jesus is keeping me alive!

Jesus promised abundant life.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

There is joy in the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Enjoy your life in the Lord today!
