Aaron the High Priest instructed to bless the people
Numbers 6:23-26 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
1. To keep thee
Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
2. Make his face to shine (luminous presence) upon thee
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

God’s shining face brings mercy

3. Lift up (arise) his countenance (face) upon thee
Psalm 68:1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
