Knowledge is layered. Significant, meaningful understanding requires an ascending enlightenment built solidly upon truth… not presumption. This is true of every category of knowledge and every scientific and engineering consideration. An understanding of basic math, algebra and trigonometry is necessary before one progresses into calculus. While community embraced presumptions are socially powerful, they serve as an impenetrable firewall against the construction of progressive useful knowledge. Ignoring the Bible record, men historically believed the earth was flat and not spherical. Galileo was horribly persecuted for his scientific challenges to the global delusions of a universe centered by mankind’s planet. It was scientifically and religiously presumed that the sun orbited a flat earth and that man was the center of the universe. This egotistical misconception was commonly shared by societies across the planet. Galileo’s mathematical and astronomical proofs earned him torture and ridicule from the scientific, political and religious authorities of his generation.
In the end, truth will always win. Truth is eternal. We appropriately identify the discovery of meaningful truth as enlightenment. Light is greater than darkness just as true knowledge is greater than socially powerful community ignorance. Light is real. It can be measured due to its substance. Darkness is simply the absence of light, just as ignorance is simply the absence of knowledge. The Bible’s statement that the earth is spherical and not flat was ignored by almost everyone due to the extreme social cost in accepting the divine testimony. In the context of the Creator’s objection to mankind’s insistence in manufacturing gods to worship in their own flawed image and likeness God defines Earth from His perspective. Have ye not known? Have ye not heard? Hath it not been told you from the beginning? Have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in (Isaiah 40:21-22). From the Creator’s perspective Earth is a circle… from any angle. Therefore it is a sphere. This book of Isaiah was written over 2,500 years ago. The Dead Sea Scrolls copy of this book of Isaiah, on display in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, was written over 2,000 years ago. Why was the Bible’s testimony of a round planet ignored by Christianity and science? It was because of the danger of social disenfranchisement generated from the darkness of societal delusion.
The Creator offers an incredible wealth of evidence concerning the truth of His creative works. The very foundations of the universe are a mirror image to the configuration of God’s Kingdom portrayed in 
the divinely designed encampment of the exclusively enlightened faithful during their forty years in the Wilderness between slavery in Egypt and inheriting the promised land. God demanded that the Jewish believers construct their encampment as a double square. Each side of the exterior square had three tribes. Each side of the interior square had a single division of the Levites along with the priestly contingent camping on the eastern quarter. The divine sanctuary was in the exact center of this double square configuration. The layered knowledge portrayed in this particular configuration is significant and vast, but our immediate concern is simply how it mirrors the foundations of universal law.
Physicists teach us there are exactly four basic components to the universe. These are space, matter, time and energy. Everything we can observe and experience fit within these four categories… just like the inside foursquare divine design of the subjects of God’s Kingdom, established at Mount Sinai. Now this parallel might seem somewhat contrived if not for the fact that these four universal elements each extend out into exactly three sub-components… exactly like 
the divinely ordained wilderness encampment. Matter comes in exactly three sub-categories of gas, liquid and solids. Space can only be separated into height, depth and width. Time has exactly three basic sub-categories of past, present and future. It is energy that poses a perspective challenge. Scientists only see two sub-categories of energy, as they are incapable of observing or measuring the third. We are told energy falls into either potential or active energy. A barrel of oil would be potential energy. Burning oil would be active energy. The third category of energy cannot be scientifically measured as it is the very nature of omnipotence. It is the Holy Spirit of the Creator, the power by which He acts. This is the power of creation, of life and powers the laws of gravity and substance and time, etc. The Holy Spirit is neither potential nor active. It is outside the range of scientific measurement. It is the third leg of the three energy sub-categories. It is the power of the universe sustained by an omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent Creator.
